i am looking to upgrade from the lude to something else.
i have a few cars on my list, but one of the major prerequisites is the ability to get the car into my carport. not the best driveway.
with the mugen replica front bumper on my lude i need to have a ramp setup in the driveway to be able to get it in, and i have to wangle it...reversing in on an angle. :thumbdwn:

here are a couple of pix of my driveway/carport:
you can see the ramp...it doesnt raise the car much, but its enough. it doesnt scrape with that.

now, my question is, could someone with a AP1 s2k please do a couple of measurements for me to see if i would be able to get one in?
i REALLY want a s2000 and i am thinking it would be close, but maybe similar enough to what my lude is to make it (with the ramp most likely)
i need to find out:
- how far forward the nose is from the front wheels
- how low the lowest part of the front is

my lude is:
- nose approx 95cm from center of wheel
- 12cm at lowest part of front bumper

thanks guys.

Hey buddy, from nose to centre of rim is 780mm and 115mm height and that's with a chin fitted and with lowered suspension.

How this helps out.

thats does...thank you.
about how much lowered are you?

basically means that the nose is not as long and at stock height would most likely be higher than the lude.
so it shouldnt have any issues.

damn...that means that i have to weigh a s2000 into my equations. :S
was kinda hoping it wouldnt fit in the car port. :P

thanks mate.

mine's about 25-30mm lower than stock.

so stock would be about 140-145mm...alot higher than i thought.
and thats not even taking into account your lip.

would easily make it then.

cant...rental.
and cant move...2 year lease.
and to be very blunt...a car is a car. this house is bloody beautiful and i would be hard pressed getting a better one for the same price.
at the end of the day i spend about 30-45 minutes in my car each day and i spend about 15 hours in my house every day....i know which is more important in the long run.
