double din touchscreen with gps

Hey guys, looking to possibly upgrade my stock sound system.. in regards for the head unit, im looking for a double din touchscreen unti for my dc5 integra... i want from it, a gps enabled one.. but i also want the function of it allowing to play music as well as use gps at the same time. Anyknoe know any specific models?

how much money u got to spend?

if you have a lazy 3 grand u can go an all out pioneer head unit with gps

btw playn music whilst giving instrustions sounds good in theory, but doesnt really work

i had portable gps in car and played music, u cant do both its just frustrating

and a unit that can do it would annoy u aswell as every time it needs to tell u something it will stop the music and give u a direction, how can u possibly enjoy the song that way

I dont think stereos are a complete waste of money, i happen to love them but it depends on the stylin' of ur car i guess, if you got a show kinda look then its almost a must but if your goin street/track style a head unit and a pair of splits at the front is plenty. do away with the rears altogether (w8 saving :thumbsup: )

if you wanna mount it out of the eyes of cheap douchebags that will steal anything visible, try putting it in a spare din space if you have one, or mount it in glove box, have it open when u need it and it looks kinda cool

It dosnt come cheap, but if you are prepared to spend enough Pioneer recently released a nice unit, which from the sounds of it is everything your looking for

there are a few fleabay models but they are kinda junk ($450 will only last for so long:p)
Maybe look into older alpine models? do you also care how it sounds as that will also determine what to look for.

my friend just put a Kenwood double din touch screen dvd player in.

It features GPS, Reverse camera screen, phone bluetooth and cost $1,300.

I think it is pretty good.
