leaving the cover off = more sound but less power from hotter air

better to get a k&n pod/panel filter and leave the cover on

Wait hold on... it's not as simple as removing stock GSi wing, and slapping on a DC2R wing.

We have been thinking about putting a DC2R wing on my mates GSi. The GSi wing has LED lights, as a brake lamp ON THE SPOILER. The DC2R wing does not. AFAIK, GSi's do not come with the rear brake lamp attached to the rear window like DC2R and VTi-R. VTi-R have both the lights on the spolier, and the lamp attached to the window.

This means, that if you wanted to do the swap LEGALLY, you will need to source a Type R Wing, and the rear brake lamp from DC2R or VTi-R and make holes in the rear window to mount the lamp, then wire the lamp up.

Regarding the intake, I would retain the stock airbox, buy a Trust / Spoon (Same shit really, trust is cheaper) foam filter, put that in the stock box. Remove the resinator box in front right guard, and duct some 4 inch air con piping from bottom of air box to front bar. I used to have this setup, and it was awesome!

1995. its just a matter of changing the wiring around or something

yeh mines got a brake light on the window too!
so i can get a spoiler without a brake light and it would still be legall

*stands and claps @ GSi PSi*

No spoiler FTW!
Spoilers are purely cosmetic, plus its been proven that spoilers basically do nothing preformance wise unless your hitting 200km or 103mph.
