View Full Version : fitting 10" speakers into DA9

Hey guys, got myself a DA9 slowly building the system up.

Just curious anyone know a way i could possibly moutn my 10" Speakers (NOT SUBWOOFER please dont Try correcting me they are PIONEER 10" 25CM SPEAKERS)

Anyway.. yeh.. anyone know a way i could like mount it on some how? (other than just chucking it in the boot?

Best option is to carve your parcel tray.

Or use cable ties like I did...

a friend of myn Cable tied it down i thought of trying it..
Couldnt a find a deacant place.. if i do cable tie it the only place i could tie it to is the seat release thing, and the boot struts.. lol
and it just looks ugly when u got giant cable ties or a bunch of them stretching aroudn the car lol

I'll be honest here, I actually had no rear interior (plastic) so it was piss easy for me.

oh.. , is it hollow inside that plastic? nothing behind it.. i might cut that up a little?

In my civic it was (86 Civic)

No guarantee's, like I said, parcel tray is your best option.

whats the point of having a 10" speaker? i never see SPL cars running them, so thats gotta be saying something right? im not being a smart ass dude, i really want to know
