View Full Version : How to change my fuel filter on my DA9

hey guys im a bit of a dummie i can do all basic stuff for service. recently my DA9 is eating alot of fuel. i searched up and people say its running rich? so i changed my sparks,leads service. car goes well but now im only gettin 300K's out of my full tank...not good as i have to drive about 100k's a day. Ive just bought a fuel filter and any thoughts on how i do it?

Have you reset the ecu? Its on the firewall, all you have to do is undo the bolts on the old one and replace it with your new one

Having the same problem with my DA, chances are the fuel filter wont be affecting it too much, could be a whole number of things. Might want to try cleaning your IACV and EGR. I recently changed to BP fuel (from mobil - not the contaminated junk) and reset my ecu and have seen some improvement.

An accurate O2 sensor is critical for good fuel economy.
