its not illegal for you to remove the badges.
the badges sit into little holes. anything which can go under the badge ie a knife will work just dont chip the paint!

of course its illegal, u will have air holes left which gives u 20kw per hole, id advise if u want more power, get some trd and nismo stickers, makes ur car hella faster then ud expect it to be
lol..
to answer ur first question. no, its not illegal.
best way to remove badges imo is by use of dental floss or fishing wire. just get it in behind the badge then shimmy it down or across until the badge starts to 'peel' from the car.

ohh truu
so is it just stikaflexed on or something?? so no holes like the spoiler??
depends on ur badge. ive taken off my civic badges on the back of my car, they were only held on with glue. but when i took off my front and rear badges, they were both held in by glue and two small plastic knobs. so.. the H badges did leave holes, but my replacement badges covered them.

dc2 integra's have holes under both the front and rear badge im sure. u will have to get small grommets or go all out and get it welded an painted
EDIT: unless ur putting new ones on then its fine

well its a huge gold badge...its pretty ugly haha so u think a smaller one will cover the holes??
Last time I removed badges off a car, i found it good to use fishing line, works like a charm.

If u really want you can fill the holes in... but that's serious work right there.
or u could put pop rivets in the holes or something
