Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone knows the part number for the OEM Euro Double-DIN euro Facia kit WITH Harness? It's the part that replaces the centre console in the euro so i can run a double din DVD player.
Needs to be ordered from Honda Japan. Honda Spare parts have no idea so i have to search up the part number myself then they can order it.

ALFA answer ur msn !

or anyone know where i can buy it from? i have the single din facia kit.. and got it from ryda.. they dont have the double din

any info would be great

thanks

Where is the double din installed? Also what is the harness for?

I want to install a MP3 deck and also retain the steering wheel controls. I have the modifry thing for my S2000 so I can retain the control buttons on there. Is there a similar solution for the CL9?

Cheers.

double din is installed in front of the gear stick.. the centre console under the climate control. u take out the pocket with the lid and it goes there.

the harness is so u can get power accessories speakers ground to your aftermarket deck without trying to find the wiring from the stock loom so u can keep ur stock harness/loom intact. much easier for install. plugs into the back on the stock unit
u have to purchase a separate harness for the steering wheel controls.

i think ryda.com sell them aswell

so would this harness for the steering wheel controls work with any aftermarket headunit man?

as far as i know..?
not too sure on how it works.. it would obviously run insync with the harness from the stock headunit somehow.. there must be a wire in the that controls the volume of the stock headunit.. and i guess the harness will give out that option to run it off any after market head uunit.. thats the only way i can think of how it works..

i have never really looked into it coz i didnt really need the controls on the steering wheel.
but ill find out and let you know..
