Grade Logic Control on CRV? [Archive]

I have a CRV with an automatic Transmission, and have noticed that the transmission seems to downshift whenever I am going down the hill with breaking. Is it the Grade Logic Control mentioned in the specs? Does it really feel the slope of the road?

Yes I've noticed this in my Odessey too, especially when I'm slowing from 100 to 80 entering the Melba Tunnel (Eastlink Southbound), and I like it :thumbsup:

My 'ol Jeep Grand Cherokee would just stay in the higher gear and I'd have to ride the brakes all the way down to the bottom of the tunnel :(
