Hey i know ths question would get asked alot, but what makes changing an old eg or ef carby to efi b series.

What are common issues that ppl run into when swaping engines, wiring, gbox etc....

Looking at getting either a eg or ef, depending on price, condition etc, and im interested in doing a swap later on down the track.

Cheers Mod

carby eg is more work to be done

efi fuel pump , fuel lines need to be changed and wired up

bswap for dc2 is basically straight swap into eg with the dc2 engine mounts, and wiring loom

with ef carby, cause its so old u need a modified wiring harness to your ecu, theres some adapters for it on ebay i last saw.

or u could jus look at that ef in the car for sale section with b swap in it already for sale

okay thanks.
So i would be better going with a eg then, as a b18 was the plan.
Would i be able to use the dc2 fuel pump etc?
