What is the difference between JDM b16a and Australia. Are all oil seals and gaskets the same? I have tried find head gasket kit however the seller said I can't use that because my motor is Jdm spec. anyone can help? Thanks

i think pistons are different, more compression on jdm version

I think the piston same. It use PR3. I bought the jdm version and I doubt about the part from that engine. Is that same or not. My plan far make Ls-vtec

Im pretty sure the AUDM uses PR3 pistons and the JDM uses P30 pistons

yup correct ZeForce :thumbsup:. When looking at the Bottom end of my Japspec B16A noticed the pistons were different to the AUDM one that was sitting next to it.

jap spec obd0 b16a da6/ef8/9 run pr3 pistons. facelift da6/8 eg6/9 ek4 jdm b16a motors run pr30 pistons. pr30 high a slightly higher dome.when odering head gaskets their is no difference between b16a/b18c and b16b/b18cr are the same head gasket

Ok, that is about piston. How about intake manifold and exhaust? Is it same pattern bolt?

Yes everything is interchangeable

I think...
JDM B16A from EF8, EF9 & '92 JDM Integra all use PR3.
JDM B16A found in EF8, EF9 & DA6-Xsi are interchangeable with PW0.
B16A from Gen3 CRX Del Sol & EG SiR is P30.
