on topic though, there are a few companies whom do this so you'd be looking at 600+ last time I checked (that was for QLD to Sydney though, might be diff otherwise)

Road trip might be good if you've got the time, especially if its going to cost you/owner into the thousand mark.

Doubt it'd cost that much to drive it and sleep in the car :p
