the cost of something like that would be incredibly high.
If you're insured, it would be a write-off.
If not, you'd be able to buy a new car for what you'd have to spend on getting that fixed.

Did you smash your S2K up?

LOL why bother?

my thoughts exactly ludecrs. The same money could be spent on a brand new s2k and you'd have a better result.

I don't think that's a full custom front end? Looks like a cut and shut.

yeap cut and shut. Seen cars more mangled up than that fixed up and resold.

Just drive around Bankstown and pop into one of the panel beaters there.

just because it looks good doesnt mean it is good.

the car will never be the same again

it looks like much more care was taken than a simple cut-n-shut, maybe the car cost the owner nothing in the first place? but it does look like the car was built with factory specs in mind, not just a quick bit of cash making and no regard for future crash protection safety. Car looks beautiful when finished.

Yeah, it maybe just put a front cut but one thing we dont know here is how much they charge for panel beater in Japan.

I believe Australian labor cost is higher than MOST Asian countries.

It should be cheaper in Japan and also the parts are much cheaper as well....If you got insured, why not?

i dont see whats the amazing thing here - car written off (technically) - bought at auction for cheap as chips. Repaired , and resold for profit. Happens all over the world.

apart from the obvious

cant we all see it from a cosmetic point of view
from what it was to what it is now.
