Im Ali, im 20, female and from Tassie (:p!) and drive a white 1997 Prelude VTI-R :) which I absolutely love.
I also have a 1993 Si Civic sedan which my fiance and I just got and are doing up.

sorry havent posted pics yet I haven't been on the net at home yet but hoping to get some time to do it today (between finishing tinkering with the civic and work!!)

well plans for the EG...
i'm currently just working on getting it up to scratch and running smoothly (needs some body work, gotta put new ignition leads in and cant find the right part anywhere without ordering it in which is annoying, also trying to place the cause of a missfire...possibly the ignition leads/spark plugs or compression???)
as well as that the dicks that used to have it hacksawed off the headrests. yes. hacksawed. not just removed them because that would be too sensible i guess!! so i am trying to locate at a wreckers some original seats, either that or i might put in some racing seats if i have the funds!
Interior needs work, will possibly do it black? installed some new speakers in the front (6x9s) the other night and just have an old alpine headunit in atm.
rear badge came gold (with the front one silver...wonder if they traded their mate's accord one?! LOL) so have sprayed it matte black, and am thinking of doing the bonnet black as well, but not in matte.

Any thoughts?? suggestions??

Ignition leads can/have been linked to misfiring (mate of mine was surging and misfiring and his leads were farked, he got tuned which did help but there was still touches of it.)

Don't forget to do a full service and replace your sparkies too.

TBH you'd probably be best getting some aftermarket seats or some OEM love from a Wrecker, depends on budget, regardless I don't know/think there are any good Honda wreckers in Tassie (I'm from Sydney so uneducated assumption there) but good luck finding one.

Black Badges = win

Black hood = depends (Its a 50/50 thing, if you like it do it, don't do it for peer pressure or whatnot)

yeah as far as wreckers go tassie is pretty much hopeless!! probably will end up going the aftermarket seats...within 'legal' requirements :S

thanks for the advice on the missfire i had the same thoughts about the leads...now just to get the damn part so i can check if we're on the money!!

yeah black badge looks sick on the back...i've just noticed heaps of new ss commonwhores and stuff are rocking the black badge look in tassie...

as far as bonnet goes i do like the look of it on the white car...but we shall see (if i was loaded it would be carbon fibre all the way :D)
