is it legal to to ride to the inspection station with no plates on to get blueslip done? the plates were handed in to rta late last yr so just wonderin. its a motorbike btw

yes, though the po po will probably pull you over and hassel you but it is ok to.

you can apply for an unregistered vehicle permit!

I drove for a few weeks with no rear plate, after it was stolen. Never had any hassles.

Yea apparently you will need to ask the RTA to issue you the permit to drive without plates. I had that this morning when i took my personalised plates.There was no holes on new european plates!! so they issued me with the letter and i drove around without plates all round.

yes u are allowed, just make sure u have a booking with the inspection station first incase cops pull u over
