Hey I hope you guys can help me on this!

My car colour code is NH-503P

I have some paint cracks, rust, scratches, colour fading on my car. I want to touch it up.

- Where do you rekon is a good place to buy touch up paint? I have bought one from this auto store and the colour doesn't really match. It turns out greyish black and can notice in light.

- What process is involve? Do I need to sand then apply the paint? If someone could tell me the exact process of doing it right and making the colour match would be appreciated.

Thanks!

well if the colour of your car is oem colour then go to honda and they be able to get the colour you need.... but if your car has been respray with a different black... then maybe try autobarn or supercheap they can match the colour for you....

maybe paint shop are good too....

anyways once you get your touch up paint.... clean the surface of the place where you going to paint and use a small brush to brush it on leave it for half n hour or so or till dry then apply another coat.... once your happy wait a couple of hours and spray it with this paint protector spray you can ask autobarn or supercheap about this i kinda forgot the name of the spray...

anyways good luck.... and tell us how you go...

Some people say dab it on, wipe it off. fill in the cracks/holes.

hello,

i've recently done my front lip and rear lip where there were a few scratches that were noticeable due to paint coming off. i did what curtis suggested, i gave it a tiny layer of the matching colour spray paint and then wiped it off to fill in the cracks and not leave any run marks. i did this a couple times and it actually came out a lot better than i expected. i couldn't completely fill in the scratches, but the colour has evened out a lot better than having black marks. good luck with the touch up!

You could try taking it 2 a detailer they could sus everything out, but it might cost abit more !

When you say that, what do you 'wipe it off' with? I'm trying to do the same to my Mazda 3 and I'm scared of wiping it off with something and leaving little fibers in it or something.

Sorry mild hijacking

lint free cloth works well.

Just did some touch ups to my lude and all I did was cut+polish small area around mark (to get rid of black marks and anything that would come off easily) then i buffed with microfibre cloth and dabbed on paint with small brush (kinda like white-out lol) i have done 2 coats since then to build it up then did another quick polish. looks good as new.
