hey guys :wave: i own a vtir 97 integra and my whole steering wheel shutters wen i put the breaks on and they feel really funny on the tyers as well. Just wondering is that warped disks im getting them looked at when i get money but am i right about that??? thanx guys :thumbsup:

I think it's wheel balance, alignment or the disc
if only happens when you brake, it seems like the brake disc

I think spoondc2 is right i belive it could be a combination of the there you would notice if you brakes where really warp as when you brake hard you will easily lock up , ect but i have has this problem , and just got a balance and wheel alignment

its your discs, get them machined and thats that
will cost u less than $100 for the front 2

yeh thanx heaps guys i cant lock up i have abs thats great....but the thing is i have gotten a wheel balance when i got my new tyres on about 2 months ago but i will again and the disks thanx... :thumbsup: :honda:

yep had same prob, got new rotors and prob solvered.

You don't need to get new rotors, if it can be salvaged, ie. machine the rotors.

Maybe get new pads as well, as since you've got warped disks now, it may have caused your pads to have uneven wear too. just a tiny suggestion.

What about wheel bearing?
Can this be attributed to the steering wheel shudder when braking?

I know a place that will machine ur disk for 15 big ones if you take if off yourself...

My pads (supplied and fitted), machine of front disk and labour costed $100.
