I have a B18c2,
I wanna upgrade 2 type r cams. Will it make a big difference?
I also want 2 buy a hondata s200. Am i looing at decent power?

if you have I/H/E installed, than put in the cams with all the ITR or a brand name headgear set (springs, retainers etc) than with a hondata tune u should see some good results

maybe pm sum1 from Toda they may be able to give you some good advice =)

Asuming the car has IHE & a tune, the difference the Type R cams will make on their own is aound 9hp (6.7kw) @ the wheel (after tuning)
Expecting any more than this is unrealistic.
The Intake, header, exhaust & ECU are more critical than cams on a std B18C2.

Re Hondata S200,
These are only available as 2nd hand units.
The S100 works just as well (minus launch)
The S300 is loads better, especiallyif you're going to play with it yourself.

I already have intake, extractor and exhaust.
So you recommend that i get a ECU first. I have a S200 or a Unichip readily available to me at the present time.
Which cams would u recommend that i buy without having 2 change valve springs and retainers?
