hello, i cant seem to find an answer from searching so im posting a few questions any help or advice much appretiated. Im looking at buying a 89 crx that has had a b16a conversion done with reciepts. for whatever reason the car is not mod plated. does this even require a mod plate? (Q.L.D) the brakes have not been upgraded i think i read somewhere that this is all that is required to be legal? if so where could i find some brakes ( type) to suit, do i then need to get it checked out and what are the cost involved of certificate.

thanks in advance
