I have a set Endless SSY but I can't remember if they are for 262 or 282mm front.

On the box it has:

Endless
VN9500 (Vita Nouva)
EP307VN (-Front)
DC1/2, DB7/8, H5. 6~

Any ideas?

Can you call Endless or just try fitting it into your caliper?

That's VN9500, not SSY. SSY will say SSY on the box.

Gents, I really *just* want to know if these are for 262 or 282mm calipers. I'm upgrading the brakes on my EG, and depending on this I'll determine if I want to go 262 or 282mm. I figure I'll reuse these brake pads with decent fluid.

I bought these for my old DC2 (262mm), so I confident (unless the trader jipped me) that they'll fit on that.

Maybe my question can be answered in a different way... Can I use DC2 (262mm) brake pads on a 282mm Caliper (Accord Wagon or ITR)?

From the distributor's website:

"Vita Nuova is our most popular, entry level compound for the everyday sports-minded, city driver concerned especially with safety.

For the spirited driver, factory brake pads may feel stressful at times. If so, this compound will appeal to you. This pad focuses on safety and stopping power. First impact, controllable, pedal feeling, noise level, and pad life are all stable for safer driving within the street stage.

We produce this compound for most Japanese-make vehicles. We want to produce a safe feeling for all spirited drivers. This is what Vita Nuova is all about. A typical factory brake pad's life and noise level are crucial factors during development. Its potential is lost and the average coefficient of friction is low.

Many have probably experienced scary braking situations. Vita Nuova increases the level of the average coefficient of friction. This is necessary for safe stopping power."

From the Endless (http://www.endless-brake.info/e_layer_compounds.htm) website:

"The VN-9500 is a compound made for standard cars to get better performance then OEM pads can ever give, and at an affordable price.
You will get better feel and heat resistance, and an overall enhanced braking capability. The compound can handle fairly hard street driving with lighter cars, but is not suited for any track use or for advanced hi-performance and/or heavy street cars.

Friction average: 0.30 - 0.35µ
Temperature range: 0 - 300ºC"

The only listing I could find for that Part No.EP307 was for Honda Integra Type R DC2, 1995-1997, and that was for the CCA not the VN-9500.

But, as was suggested, the best option is to trial fit.

I'd say its 282mm, but what I'll do when I get home, is measure a set of DC2R pads and put the dimensions up, you can then measure yours and see who's longer...LOL...

jump on the bendix website. and find out which one it is. vn 9500 to me just sounds like the compound of the pad.
