People have had it done....

Can you be more specific on what you need to ask?

what offset/width/tyre are you going to be running?
all need to be considered when applying large wheels like 20's.

and if your dumping your car with air runners, springs+ shock or coilovers and with what height setting.

if you want 20" you would need 30profile tyres to reduce scrappage.

30 profile would cost a sh1t load of money too unless you go for sh1t tyres.

hmm 20x8 all around should do offset 48 - 50 ?

offset: 42mm
wheels: 20 x 8.5
tyres: 255 x 30 (back) 225 x 30 (front)

my car is lowered on king springs. i went to tyre factor to get my guards rolled and the guys started rolling the backs and then said that he had to stop because he didnt want to roll it anymore. my rears still scrape a fair bit. just wanted to get some advice as to what i could do..

thanks!

do something LOL, and run 215 tyres, and add more negative camber.

with a width like 8.5 and offset of 42 thats pretty keen. if you've already got them on then obviously you can't change those variables...so only choices are changing tyres? stretch on some 225 or similar? and run extensive negative camber to prevent scrapping.

i've got 20" x 8.5.. had the guards rolled and it was still scrubbing as the tyres were still scrubbing on the plastic part of the rear bumper.. i had the plastic cut off at a tyre shop and they're not scrubbing anymore.. it was also scrubbing on the plastic guard at the front as well so had to cut that out..

i can't remember whether my tyres were 225 or 215..

sounds like you got too wide tyres for that +42 offset (rear that is).

either you need higher offset or more negative camber

I saw your car a lot around Point Cook area, you might saw my euro as well. Your tyre won't scrape if your guards are rolled properly. My 19x9.5" +35 never scrape after the guards rolled & do the alignment.

no chance in hell... rolled and pulled guards, rear bumper modification, removal of front and rear inner guards, stretched tyres and some bullshit camber = might fit without to much hassles after all that

It will fit if you dont lower the car, but they will be sticking outside the body of your car, haha lol
