Neons - Yes or No?

Well i was thinking about some exterior neons for my Custom '92 civic.. What do you guys think? I was thinking about getting blue.

I would like to hear what all of you think about neons whether you like them or hate them, thanks for the help

Neons can be cool if done properly...however you wouldn't be able to use them legally unless the car was stationary at a show.

Had neons in the computer for a while....until I realised how stupid it was. Can see why you'd want to show off your car more than a computer but I still think its a waste of money.

I reckon they can look good. Depends on what you goal is.
Me, I am looking at loosing weight, not that they weigh much, but it all adds up. So those sort of things I would not put on my car. Have fun :)

Up to you really.. ive got a yellow neon and i had zero neons underneath.. just something different.. I only got shit from racist ppl. Hook them up to a relay and you can use them to turn on and off with your alarm button.

Mm, Well i have a missile switch which is hidden away and it turns the front neon on but thats all i have i need 2 more down the sides (1 for each side) and 1 for the back.

I thought it was legal to drive with them on if you couldnt see the globs? I never know what's legal these days :( i hear so many different things lol.

Have you thought about interior neons. A nice blue glow would look cool. I don't think interior neons are illegal.

Do wat you think looks nice, dont be a sheep and follow others. Some people like all go, some people like all show...

in the end you gotta be happy with your car and do what makes you happy with it, not others..

Neons with stereo installs should be law. They are tops. Have you guy's seen the new 1 watt led's? Soooo bright. A led underbody kit would be great. You can get kits that change colours (as you guys already know) and led's are supposed to last longer and have way less problems.

for a car as well done up as yours deffinatly get neons they'll finish it off when you drive. I have NO idea about WA so ring your local RTA or cop shop for more details, but i know in victoria they are PERFECTLY legal providing they are not red as red lights may only face rearward.

dude i say go for it, but don't get the LED ubderbody ones, they may be brighgter but they don't throw out as bigger spray of light.. try get ahold of some white neons they'd look sweet with ur car color, good luck :D:D

white blue wither way it would look sweet, and go for the interior ones as well i had my GTi intrior glowin blue, it put a glow on the road, looks real goo, but just make sure u hide the actual neon, nuthin worse than seein the neon, oh yeah DO NOT get the windscreen wiper lights, neons are ricey but there just POO :D

just be carful what colour you have, as blue and red are the lights emergency cars(police, ambo, fire)have. And you could get pinged for that no? If you had white one, then it would just be like an extention of your headlights in a way.

that last pic doesnt look that bad.
although for underbody neons, its all to do with your own preference.
IMO these days, show cars are played out.
