Hey Guys,

I have a HID Kit i'm gonna install.
But just wondering where you guys mounted your ballasts?

there isnt too much room in there to mount them...Any PIC's would be a MASSIVE HELP.

Under the headlights. Take the bumper off when you install and you can mount the ballast there.

with the slim ones i think it'll work better for those who want to mounts thier ballast tucked in like the OEM style under the headlight . the fat ones are too fat therefore u need to mount it sumwhere else behind the bumper.

Nut & bolt or use cable tie. Don't use double sided tape.

show us a pic where you install the balast, i have the damn fat ballast come soon aswell.. good luck with the install!

I'll give it a go as soon as I get my headlights fixed from honda..
you wouldnt believe it, someone @ the Factory installed the housing for the bulbs upside down. LoL

what type are the standard Low beam light bulbs for a 04 standard euro.

H1 Standard lowbeams, take off the Front bar and just under the headlight, there is like a slot. With the slim ballasts, just slide it in.

You can ziptie it or whateva, but ive realised that after the front bar is mounted, the tucked in ballast wont move.

well this is how i mounted mine....there are many place but yeah.

you can see the cables running from the headlight lid and into one of the many holes on the side

please correct me if im wrong, but my euro already has HID's in there, can i purchase a different HID bulb and just swap it out? there isn't a need for the whole ballast system replacement is there??

Yes you can just replace the HID bulb (D2S bulbs for your luxury model).
