edit: also is it ok to mix coolant brands?

the exact same to use for ALL hondas.

Honda type 2 coolant. Get it from honda.

Do NOT mix coolant types....

Agreed. Honda Type 2 coolant, which is the blue one. It comes standard in your FD1 when it comes from the factory.

its an older style type 1 coolant. dont worry.

ooo phew...i replaced it with water since it leaked out when i was doing my intake, is that ok?

Mixing coolant and water is no problem.
Mixing coolant with a different coolant is a BIG problem.

Just make sure you dont have only water in there and get it replaced at the scheduled service.
Honda coolant is pretty good for what it is.

any problems if type 1 and type 2 are mixed?
i don't know what coolant my car (07 FD2) uses but when the guy did my intake he added the type 1 (green) coolant in because some came out when pulling the original intake apart.
should i flush it all out and put new coolant in?
