Hey people,

Got my car tune on wednesday and blue smokes were coming out from the exhaust on high revs, my tuner said it was the pistons rings.... sooner or later i will have to change the pistons and rings....

So should I go forged pistons or b20 block? its for a jdm b18c type r

which ever is easier and cheaper, also in powerwise?

any info and advise would be greatful

The cheaper option there is to replace the pistons with forged unit.

if you go B20, you have to buy the block, change to forged pistons as well etc. ended up costing more

Try replacing the PCV valve first. Cheap fix and if it doesn't work, you can keep it and put it on your new or rebuilt engine.
