Hey guys, could be 90% buying a car interstate, from melb in the next couple days. The car's rego will run out in two weeks. What are my processes i have to go through as the car is registered in victoria, and i am living in nsw. Cheers thanks guy

hey not to sure if you can, i think you have to be a resident to register that car in that state, or you can always get the car towed to your state and register the car in NSW :)

ok, to clairify, i am living in nsw, flying down to melb n buying the car down tehre n re-registering it up here in sydney.

well i don't no if its anything different but when i brought a car from nsw and wanted to swap it over to Brisbane plates i had to go through the process of re registering the car
which ment, stamp duty/rwc/registration to get it under my name

in brisbane roughly 400-500 thats with 6 months rego

hey michael, nah this one is manual... driven my mates auto lude... i knwo why all the semi auto boxes die out LOL....
