Got that same issue...
just been speeding up when I spray so the wind pushes it up to the higher part of the windscreen.
Will try the hot water treatment TX =)

I have this problem. When I bought the car 2nd hand they weren't working, next service Honda unblocked them and they worked OK but not great. Lately one of them hasn't been working well at all. Prolly getting blocked again I reckon...

Hey,
With an air blower(compressor)blow through the hole, if neccesary water may assist in softening the dirt thats clogging it up

my wipers not sprayers a screwing up. When they wipe the midsection leaves a trail if you know what i mean. i ran my fingers down the blade to smooth it out and remove anything hanging from it. still like that. is it covered by warranty?

It is a wear and tear item, so probably not. But if the dealer is nice, they might give you a replacement blade at their cost.

Best to check if it is blocked by algae or by mineral deposits. Usually it is algae which can be cleaned out by compressed air through the nozzle. Take the nozzles off and blast air through it. For your washer water, add just a little bit of washer additive and that will prevent the growth of algae.

I've used a bit of additive (1/4 to 1/2 recommended dose) and my 2004 hasn't had blocked nozzles yet.

LOL, you haven't lived in Port Hedland.... :p

Washing the car up there was painful. You could see the calcium spots grow in front of you. That was hard, hard water. It used to block the nozzles of my old colt quite regularly.

BTW, I use distilled water and sonax additive. No water spots and clean screen FTW! I often give the screen a touch up with sealant when I do the car also.

Sonax is great. I use that too. It helps prevent the nozzles from clogging from hard water because it contains some citric acid. I have RO water here at work, so I carry a 15L drum of it in my work car. haha. Great stuff.
