I am looking at slamming my euro on its a*s with either 19s or 20s. I have some pictures of the wheels I would like but at present I don;t have the upload priviledges.

I have gained some advice from wheel mobs who are certain that 8inch wide rims will fit on the front, yet as all you euro owners will know, there is jack all room in the front guard.

I would also like to slam it while attempting to maintain as much of the comfortable ride as possible.

Can I get some advice?

front is no worries, it is the rear guards that you have to worry about

In my view 19" and 20" look ridiculous on the Euro regardless of style -- go 18" as it suits the size of the body much better.

You should also check whether your car will be legal in your state with that rim size. On the US sites a few people have 20" - I'll post up some pics later or tomorrow and you will see what I mean about it looking ridiculous.

With both 19" and 20" the profile would be very low to retain an accurate speedo reading - with such low profile you are definately going to struggle keeping it comfortable.

19" doesn't look right either...

18" - just perfect proportions

18's the go, 19's alright, but all depends on style!

20's too big but you will get attention!!! You would definately strugle for comfort.

IMO both 19's and 20's look ridiculous. I would definitely get 18's. Costs less and looks better. Simple decision.

And when the 18"s are Work wheels, they are definately Da BomB!

20 inch wheels u got to be joking me??

Stuff all performance... I have trouble already as it is with my 19inch alloys when it comes to accelartion... 20 inch alloys will cause u plenty of trouble especially when u lower it quite low...

The front of the euro's have no prb lowering, its the back. As i said before u have to roll the guards if u want to make it real low if u are using 19inch alloys. If its 20inch alloys u probably have to roll the guards fullstop.

18 inch alloys i say are the best. Its big enough and it doesn't weigh as much. It doesn't sacrifice performance and handling that much either... Go for lightweight alloys, they cost more but performance and handling should improve a lot...

If u just want to be hardcore then thats up to u moite... But u r gonna have one harsh ride... If u r gonna have big wheels make sure u have a bodykit to make it look uniform... If not its gonna look real wierd...

Rims and tyres can be had for about $2K and 18" tyres are not that expensive due to the ever growing market for them. More brands to pick from than 19's. 19's not worth the extra money.

Here's a url that will calculate and give you the closest accurate speedo readout for tyres.
