hey guys posting for a mate, well my mate just owned hisbrakes and everything in that area all bent up very sad stuff and now his thinking fix or replace. Anyone know how much stock disc's are thats the only thing unrecoverable atm. Any advice would be sweet saving moneyz= more mods

shouldnt b much rear brakes conversion as a whole is about 300for both sides. so i'ld say 50-100?

what do you mean by bent up the brakes?
if everything is fine and you're just replacing the discs that's not a problem, discs are consumable items anyway. i can't tell you how much geninue discs are, however good aftermarket (eg. RDA) discs are often cheaper and in some cases better than OEM

I'll just assume he was doing yanking his handbrakes trying to imitate a drift and may have damaged his rotors and possible the calipers ? Am I on the right track ?

umm lol we were doing yara bend he was following my type r and his new to driving curves and he had already spun out once so i told him to go easy so second run I was taking it easier but some how he spun out again and hit the gutter =(. sorry no pics atm I'll try and get some off him.

oh misread the first post, bring it to mech either way =s seriously he'll be able to assess the damage better.

whoa bad news. how did he do that and just damage the brakes? it sounds like he should have mangled the suspension components/axle for that wheel :eek:

hey guys thanks for your input i guess more damage than i antisipated. Around 2k to fix I found one pic from my phone from the night its not really clear but ill show you guys anyway

2k? sounds a bit pricey.
is it a 92-97 Prelude Si? If so we should have the parts (but we're in SA). Might cost you a couple of hundred for parts, and no more than 300-400 bucks for labour, surely!
