Anyone know if the USDM DC2 has the same brake setup with AUDM DC2?
Like rotor size and brake pad....

Yes, they share the same brakes.

Yes, they share the same brakes.

sorry , no thats wrong. The caliper is the same outer dimensions but the DC2 uses different pads to the GSi.

VTiR = 149mm x 58mm x 17mm

GSi = 129mm x 55mm x 16mm

As you can see , they are considerably different in size (and shape if you compared the two)

Sorry ben but im actually using gsi pads in my vtir.
Im guessing you got that off the bendix, etc site?
149 x 58 x 17, Variant: Type R

There has been a mass listing error which lists vtir as the same as type-r (same db listing).
I've already been through this with a brake pad supplier and I had to reorder as gsi pads as they are the ones that fit.

Personal experience >* ;)

ps: i'll gladly take photos of the pad boxes with db listings if you really would like it.

good guess got it off another site tho. The bendix listing is full of errors - states ek4 as ek9 etc. But the GSi does use smaller different pads to the VTiR. If they fit in the same location , thats dependant on the caliper you have.

I'm using completely oem vtir assembly, only thing non oem is the rotors and pads.
I'll try find someone with a gsi and check it out but im fairly sure they are the same, they're both 262 and the pads are interchangeable I know that.

Edit:
Oh and just adding that the gsi pads I am using have complete contact patch on the rotor, although it wouldnt matter seeing as they are 262 either way

just watch it , as there is 6 or more different model of cars between the civic and integra range that all use 262mm rotors , similar calipers but use different pads between them. Age of vehicle (92-96 , 96-00 for example) can differ pad and caliper design too.

Anyway get the info and confirm for our info database :thumbsup:

Oh and i'll also add that when we pulled the pads out they were exact same shape as oem so I have no problems with that. I'll grab a photo if I remember when I bleed the brakes.

I think ek's have a different caliper & pad.

When I had my GSI, I bought VTI-R Bendix pads and it did NOT fit.

(This was for rear brakes, not too sure about the front)

interesting. Does anyone have some def. part numbers and images inbetween GSi and VTiR , and years?

Refer to my quote about bendix not having the correct part listing.
Just look if you like they have print out templates, the vtir is same as itr.

yes, someone please find out if they are the same.
my bendix ultimate pads with dba 4000series rotors arent exactly working that well. need better pads.
