Hi hondies
I just fitted 6000K HID kit bought from Ebay.
It's too bright and hurts eyes.
I don't mind for my point of view but I know it's pain for other drivers.
the light supposed to spread downwards but this one spreads everywhere.
I found out there are two types of H4.
normal H4 and H4/HB2.
is there difference?
one I got is H4.
If anyone know the solution

no solution unless you got aftermarket projectors.

its such as pain to see jazz, civic fitted HID for other road users.

H4 got H4 hi/lo and bi-xenon available.

Reflectors with aftermarket hids are rubbish .They too bright and scattered and they blind oncoming cars.

you can't just add it on there. you shouldve bought the Hi/Lo magnetic in the first place.

I make them mate, i sold the set that is in the picture above.

pm'ed you regarding retrofit.

tayoon , did the bulb have a COVER on the bulb ? or is it just a naked bulb ?

The hi/low has a shield that prevents light escaping out of the top and causing glare

If it's just a naked bulb , then you have no hi beam.
Also ,if your making projectors Dreams, wouldn't it have no hi beam also?

it's got high beam separately right nxt to low beam which is just halogen not run with ballast.

on the jazz? your white one ? Its a dual element H4 bulb Dude.

That means the HID bulb is to be a dual HI/LOW too.

Basically it would be easier to just go and buy the "magnetic" set of HID's. That way can just install it fresh and you shouldn't have any glare issues.

HID with hi-beam option....does not turn on off. It adjusts the angle or depth
of the bulb (relative to its housing) giving a slightly different reflection and hence HI beam.

I found out Bi-zenon has single bulb that uses low and high beam.
My one has zenon for low beam and normal halogen for high beam.
I wonder if Bi-zenon will fix the glare.
Also I got told Bi-zenon needs 4 blasts instead of 2.
Is this true?
Maybe I should get set of magnetic bulbs which only need 2 blasts

 don't bother just changing the bulb. different manufacturers use different connector harneses so easier to get a new kit.

Why are you making yourself complicated man. Bixenon doesnt necessarily need 4 ballast, thats why we talking about the MAGNETIC type. just cos its hi beam is HID too hence its called bixenon.

Thats what we are trying to say

If you get the H4 HID kit i have. Which are Bi-Xenon H4 Hi/lo the magnetic type ones, they do help to reduce glare. You still have the cutoffs and it wont glare into other drivers. My mates tell me it doesn't blind them :D Its exactly like the stock halogen bulbs i previously had but much brighter.

If you want to fix the problem, you'll have to get the Bi-Xenon H4 Hi/lo the magnetic type ones or the best thing to do is install what you have now in projector style headlamps.

The cutoffs are the same as what my stock halogens were.
