cbr250rr engine help

hi guys i just needed to know what the price on a 250cbrrr engine is (it blew on me a few days ago as i was riding it) my m8 came to grab me after it blew and told me it was a rod and his only seen 2 fuk up on a cbr250rr all his life and his been fixing bikes for 20 or so years. there is now a hole somwhere on my engine i think its just above or blow one of the header pipes. he said it would cost me 450 for a engine and ill have to put it on myself. one thing is $450 a good price? and is it hard to put on? thanks guys

Call up some wreckers around where you are... ask them prices on the motors and what warranty they give

Make sure you log the details of the motor, otherwise you will have some trouble when you need to sell ad numbers dont match up
