fixing dents by dry ice

hey guys as stated above, has anyone tried using dry ice to fix dents on cars :confused: lol? i just came across with it on youtube

Yeah man, but wtf is with that vid'' u can buy dry ice at your local supermarket'' or some crap lol... I highly doubt it.. but if you can get some ,and get some dry-ice gloves, go for it lol

You can get Dry Ice from supermarkets in the states.

Anyway, it is worth a try mate.

And no it doesnt actually work.
It eventually cracks the paint and/or surface.

I've tried it anf FAILED. It depends on the dent.

You can buy dry ice from dry ice manufactures. Theres a place in Botany [Sydney] near eastgardens which manufactures it but you can go there with an esky and buy the offcuts. The offcuts are pretty damn big and its dirt cheap[ per Kg]

Nah dont use dry ice.

Use a hair dryer or a heatgun and freeze in a can. Alternatively you can tip a can of compressed air upside down and it will shoot liquid freeze.
