Air fuel Ratio Gauge installation

i got an autogauge af gauge a while ago, but lost the manual

tried installing it, cant even get the backlight to work.

tried all combinations with the wires

anyone got any insight

there should be three wires coming out the back of the gauge if its an electronic gauge, correct? one will be power (red?)- find 12v supply, one will be ground - any part that touches the chassis of the car, and the other will be the electronic reading of AF ratio which should be the black wire coming from the 02 sensor near your header <- don't quote me on the black wire, i got told that from 7thgenhonda.com. i hope that helps mate.

Sell it on ebay, it's useless.

You can't measure AFR from a narrow band sensor.

Realistically though, it won't tell you much as narrow-band instruments are inferior to a proper wideband unit. But much cheaper of course. Narrowband is not suitable for tuning a car if that is your intention. If you just want to see where your AF ratio is then its OK. Trouble is if the AF gauge tells you anything but ideal, where does that leave you? Good luck.

yeah, nah not installing it for tuning, originally i was gonna get a wideband but then kinda lost interest. and ordered the gauge so wanted to install it cause i already had it.

im gonna get on it as sson as i get out of bed
