Hi to the OzHonda community,

I'm Jaime and into Honda's and all stuff JDM/USDM. I've firstly owned a 97 Civic Gli which I crashed within two months of owning it. Now I have a Red Eg5...That unfortunately I crashed last week due to a stupid driver opening his door without caution and did not have enough space or time to stop and ended up running into it. I got it bone stock and in the time I've had it I've bought an Injen CAI, Type R style front lip, Foggies and amber corners/flat side indicators and 949 Racing 6UL rims.

Thanks in advance for the help that this site has given me and will continue to give me while I'm here.

Update: 21/11/2009

I finally got my car back after a long time at the repairers, Im not 100% satisfied with the result but it is a lot better then before it when in.

I'm running the stock D16Y1 and I'm looking at modifying this little engine as I think it has a bit of potential, I don't want to head down the same road that every does by which I mean going B/K series. I want to be different and have a nicely modified Civic Vti.

oo i see i see , well its up to you :)

but for me its only worth upgrading the d series if your gonna go turbo, wont get much gains from I/h/e , or just go b series.. bang for buck

I respect your thoughts, but I don't want to beat all the cars from a red light, I'm not into power as such. Just a little more then what it has now would be good, I've heard from my uncle that going with intake, headers, Hi-flow cat, exhaust and eg5 Si pistons I should be able to get a bit more power, But we'll see what happens in the future.

Thanks for the comments guys, and I forgot to add on my first post above that the car also has front and rear ITR swaybars, ITR shocks and springs with beaks subframe reinforcement and beaks tie bar.
