A random thread, but thought I'd see if anyone experiences this.
I was driving at night from Surfers to Coffs harbour on Friday night, and I got a high beam flash from someone. I slowed down as thought cops must be about. Saw none, carried on. Got another one. Still no cops. Mates in the car were thinking that's weird. Then I noticed it happening all the time. Then clicked, everyone thought I had my high beams on. So everytime someone flashed me, I gave them a big flash of high beam back and could see their faces squinting when I did it.
Now I've never had this before with various cars, halogen and HID lighting systems. And I noticed on the dark bits of road the standard lights were really lighting up well, and high beam was like turning on the lights and seeing all the trees around.
have you guys with standard lights had any experience of this?
