clicking and knocking when turning??

yo guys, gots an em1 and when i turn left or right... mainly left. i get this clicking and knocking sound, especially when i accelerate... i was told might be the knuckles... but yeah getting muh mechanic to check it out next week.
any thoughts?

I had the same problem on my ek when i got it, 140 for a full refurb of the shaft including inner and outer joints (all bearings rubbers etc) and a new coat of paint on the shaft so it looks brand new :D
