turns on then stalls?

got an eg d16 and it turns on but the revs will drop and then turn off. sounds like its choking?

anyone got any pointers?

dopne anything to it recently ? intake/exahust mods etc ? replaced a dzzy ? Touched any wiring in and around the engine bay ? Touched any vaccuum hoses ?
