[DIY REQUEST] Removing wing on ek

would like to know how to do this and best way to cover the existing holes.

Remove the trim from the inside
Remove bolts and unplug electrical connector to light on the spoiler
Plug the holes with rubber gromments/plugs you can buy from supa cheap.If the holes are bigger than 1cm,I would goto bunnings!

Then when ya got the spare $300 or so bucks,get the holes professionally fixed.

It's really easy!

will the rubber plugs keep out water or should i use silicone?

It should only trickle a little in there in heavy rain.Definately use some silicone if there's something behind there that water can damage.Better just to put some in there.

My boot is all metal/has been stripped out,nice and light! So the little rain that gets in there is no problem!
