Any report of these longlife plugs sticking in , causing a bit of a disaster,
Can they really be removed after 100,000 , easily ?

Thanks

er what ? plugs can be removed yes, but be careful not to damage the thread, make sure the plug socket is straight and you do not take it out at an angle, and yes it can be a bit stiff to get out, can be extremely hard if you decided to place a huge dump of anti-seize onto the thread when installing.

I usually put a very thin film of anti-sieze and never overtighten. Never had stuck plugs.

^^ Oh really,anti-seize aye.

Aaron, can oil come up the spark plug and into the spark plug cylinder/spark plug lead from tightening too hard and crushing the crush washer flat?

I know I've had oil come in the top past the cylinder tube seal but I cant work out if came up through the bottom too...

Yeah I agree antiseize regular like,, and never overtighten, that is real bad

and I think that leaving plugs in for 100,000 kms is a disaster , they might not come out

No, the crush washer is only there to help prevent overtightening. If you have oil in there, then the spark plug seals which are on the underside of the rocker cover need replacing.

My car's plugs are meant to be in there for 120,000 km.

You just need to use a little bit of anti-sieze on the threads and some dielectric grease on the white ceramic part of the plugs to prevent binding. Then do the plugs up and once you get a little bit of resistance, just turn a little bit more which crushes the crush washer and you can leave it there for the next 5 years/100,000 km
