Engine Conversion Advice Needed

Hey guys,

Im planning do a engine coversion to my EG, atm it has a d16y.. Just need some advice on what to put in it..

Thinking between

b16a
b18c7
k20a


Is there any way to work up a b16 to have power like the b18 without forced induction? would it cost cheaper than buying the b18?

b16 doesnt have enough torque... and the k20 is abit on the expensive side atm...

end of the day, it all depends how deep are ur pockets...

why not rebuild and turbo th d16 =D

Hey mate. b20 is your answer. It might not be cheaper but wont cost too much more than a b18c and the gains are really worth it. :thumbsup:

how much is the b20 stock atw ?

mine, using a lot of restricting parts made 121kw atw. such as thin b16a intake mani, gsi throttle body, stock airbox, 4.2 final drive gearbox etc

k24 with k20 cam and cam gears thats my set up atm. just got beaten half a car length by an 01rx7 running 12pound
