View Full Version : Ozhonda Moves to a new server

Hi all,
My deepest apologies for the delay in getting the site back up.
Everything was running as planned but when opening the site back up at 4pm last night new posts/threads couldn't be made (ended up with a blank page).
The development/test site worked fine but the live one didn't for some reason and I suspect it was a DNS issue.
Issues list: EDIT ALL FIXED!
If you find any other problems/issues then please post back here.
Thanks for your patience on this.

Should of left it hanging just alitte longer...all the spammers/trolls would of migrated to another site and leeched their bandwidth instead :)
Atleast it appears to be running fine sofar. PS for myself and others , the template is default can it be changed as per usercp or is this like this for a reason ? (testing)

Yeah for testing.....thought it might be a template problem but seems not (thank god!)

Yup looking into this....seems to be something little that I'm missing :)
Also there is a problem with the image verification for new users. Will probably only be able to look into this on Wednesday though so please be patient.

Looks like you have a VPS now running Ozhonda. The verification capatcha may not be working as you may not of compiled Apache with the correct modules that are required .
If you need a hand with anything feel free to let me know (i'm am ex web host and a Sys Admin).

DO this. Start -> Run -> 'cmd' and hit ENTER. Then type 'ping www.ozhonda.com' and post back here with the IP address. Chances are you're ISP is still pointing to our old host.

Yeah just needed to recompile apache with FreeType2 (just did it) so all should be fine now for new registrations etc.

Regarding AVG seems there are a few sites affected and AVG is generating false positives. I'd try disabling the toolbar for the moment. I'm trying to find a link to contact AVG to clear Ozhonda.
