k24 6speed?

ok guys i have an ek with a k24 from o7 euro with k20 type s cam and cam gears

now its only 5 speed and the gear ratios are shi* i get left behind lol

so now im looking for a 6speed box from a dc5

so a dc5 r and type s same box? both lsd?

and is it true that a k24 manaul box wont fit?

DC5R box has LSD. Type S does not have LSD.

The K24A transmission case is a bit different and the ratios are longer. So if you can get a DC5R box, that would be better.

dc5r (LSD) and dc5s (no-LSd) both are 6 speed. Be prepare to pay top dollar if you can find one

K24a gearbox does not have LSD. If you have to pick between the K24A gearbox and a Type S box, go the type S because I can't guarantee that the K24A transmission is a direct fit to your custom transmission mount. Plus, the K24A gearbox does not have a VSS.

VSS = vehicle speed sensor. The K24A gearbox from the Euro does not have a VSS on the gearbox to tell your speedo how quick you are doing. The Euro has speed sensors on the hub instead.

Check the specs on carsales.com.au or redbook.com.au to compare the gear ratios.

update found a 6speed from a k20 ep3? will that fit, what else do i need to fit it on my ek k24? like shift linkages etc etc? or staright swap here what the seller said

it has done around 80,000km but drives like new when it was on my EP3, I change gearbox oil every 5000km so it was well maintained.

It'll bolt on to a k24 motor even in a k swap.

I do also have a close to brand new standard type r clutch aswel. Not wanting much as I have no use of it. looking for around $450 done less than 1000km on that. Brand new from honda is around $660. At least that how much I paid for it. Let me know if you are keen
