Shaving my EG Civic

Ok well I am not using my car right now, so I decided to get some shaving/paint work done. I plan on shaving boot, rear door handles and antenna. Just after some oppinions about this work; Im after a clean custom JDM look and the shaved boots look good, but the painted plate holders also look good.

So come on guys give me some advice on what I should do, I dont want a body kit althogh some stock looking side skirts would go good and I will be using a buddy club style rear bar with plate holder in the middle of bar but this is the temporary bar till I get my stock one custom sunk in for my number plate.

The car will be the stock colour when resprayed although might have a bit more pearl put through paint, the finish Im aiming for is the Ford XR6 grey with that green pearlish finish.

it worked for me ..
i turned quite a few heads for a primered up piece of crap.

shaved boot and handles is gonna cost u plenty of $$$$ for labour .
they will pretty much have to weld behind your door handles and all that .

get yourself a fat front lip , hid's , dump it on its asss .


or if u want the budget jdm look ... just do wat every kid in cabra is doing ...
$2 cans from super cheap ...

yeah sounds good man, I was thinking some nice 17inch work rims would look phat, some tein coilovers or hks, and a rear lip aswell

fat wheels you say, got a size and offset?? im keen for some 205's but yeah if I do fast take offs Il be burning CV's like theres no tomorrow.

Iv got a mate shaving my car, but yeah so doors are welded up from inside ey, then bogged up on outside?? thats how Iv been told its done.

Im looking for some good projector lights for my EG atm, like something JDM as Fu*k lol so I can finally put my 8000K HID kit in.

the door moldings will stay, just shaving the handels so it wont look like a sedan from distance and also I dont use the rear doors anyways its mainly a 2 seater at most.. But what you think of shaving the boot?? hate the way it looks now

yeah its the same look, except my hood will be stock, gaurds might get pumped a bit and front doors will still have handles

Im not a fan. I think it makes it look plane and boring, like it's missing something.

My tastes are fairly minimalist, and everyone is entitled to their own opinion on what looks good, so just do what makes you happy.

Nice wheels, good paint and an aggressive stance always does it for me.
