Windscreen wippers

I need to paint my wipe blades on my 95 cord because the colour is fading out of it, i lifted the hood, and noticed 2 bolts which i presumed held the wipers in place, i undid them exposing a thread that i thought the wiper should somehow come off, i was wondering if there was something that i didnt see that was holding it in place, can anyone help me out??

and also with repainting them whats the best way to get the paint on? thinking of just spraying them black

hey mate
there should be splines holding in the wipers
if u give it a bit of a pull or tap they should come off.
i would just spray them back to matt black
i did that to mine and they look perfectly original :)

I feel so lazy - mine were looking a bit tired so I rubbed on some auto black polish stuff. I use it to sharpen up the black lips on the car as they fade a bit over time.

Worked for awhile. :p

I did this back when I had my previous car. I just masked the car with newspaper and sprayed it matt black without taking the wipers off the car.

use one hand to hold ur bonnet about 20 cm from shutting, use other hand to bend the wiper up (like when u wash ur car) and it will pop out.
