Hi all, I have a 1991 Honda Civic ED 4 door sedan with auto tranny and 1.5 twin carb engine. I have to replace the rocker cover gasket and the spark plug tube seals. Do I have to use a gasket sealant on the rocker cover gasket? Do I use a sealant with tube seals or smear with oil? or do they just press in? Are these tasks difficult and is there anything I need to be aware of? Also I have to replace the standard antenna mounted on top of the pillar. I cut off the old one and taped the new cable to it to pull it through. It was nearly through when it broke. Is there a technique to try and thread a new cable down the pilar into the car with no existing cable there? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

for the valve cover gasket u need gasket and sealant ( u can get oem honda stuff, thats good ). i believe thats the case. Its a pretty simple job. Can't help you with the antenna and im unfamiliar with the spark plug tube seals (dont think u'll need sealant there) though.

Downlaod the service manual and u'll be able to do it.
