View Full Version : EG Projector headlights - bulb types?

Hello,

Ive just bought a set of projector lights off Ebay for my EG (as per the pic below).
Can anyone tell me which bulb types they use for high & low beam - H1, H3?

just out of curiosity, but what bulb would Ek projectors use?

generally most aftermarket 2bulb type. uses h1 or h3. to check they normally have it printed on the case ;) thank and rep me :p lol

H1 low beam and H1 high beam

Thanks guys, fianlly confirmed with the seller that they are H1 for both high and low....HID time!!

Be careful with putting in the HID's i have an EK with projectors and had to slightly bend the electrode on the globe to get them to fit in mine. plus coming from a H4 you will need to put in a relay to have both lights on at the same time for high beam. i haven't done this as i dont know if the casing will melt due to having the 2 of them running.
