Hi guys iv'e just had this problem last night, my eg hatch windows struggle to go up and ive now got really deep scratches carved into my window screen.
Does anyone know how i can fix this its quite frustrating.
note: it slides down fine but stops or shakes trying to get up

Take off the door trim and inspect it. Align as necessary and make sure its all screwed together tightly. Use your service manual so u know whats what down there.;)

try lubing the window slide rubbers with silicone lube

if you've got scratches then your window has probably come out of it's guide rail.
pull your door trim off and check. while you're there, grab your can of silicon spray and spray inside the rubbers in the guide rail all the way along.

check the bailey channel for dirt/rocks etc, i always clean it out with a piece of cloth wrapped on a thin screw driver, alot of crap gets stuck there.
if lubing it dont work, might have to replace the channels, costed me about $355 both sides 2 yrs ago.

Worked on my mums el falcon when the window refused to go up because of the rushing by air while she was driving.

thanks guys i'll try it out, also heard the motors might be dying LOL
