hi guys recently i missed shift from 3rd to 2nd and it sounds like gear grinding with each other lol u know what i mean hehe noob shift. but it was like a couple of second what should i check? should i go change my gearbox oil soon ? or is it the clutch problem ? as u know it might have the some debris in the oil after that issue occured.
cheers

Yep i agree, you should change the trans oil first to get rid of the fine metal particles floating in there.

Hopefully you have not screwed your synchros , otherwise you're up for big bucks.
wow is it really that big a deal? ive done that once for bout half a second when putting it into reverse, my foot wasn't all the way in the clutch....

What RPM were you at in 2nd? I wouldn't worry too much if it was just a grinding sound. But I would still change transmission fluid anyway as it is good to do so every 2-3 years for a non-tracked manual box.

Reverse doesn't have synchros.

when i was in gear 3rd pass down to 2nd it was like 2000rpm. :(. ive test to power shift 1-2-3-4 and downshift aswell it seems fine no strange sounds nor bad grindings. thx for the response guys i will do a oil gearbox change soon :)
gotta love manual transmission :D

dude.. it's no biggy...
Accidently grinding a gear is not bad, everyone does it...
It's when you get a 1.5 tonne clutch on a standard box, with an engine running 21 psi that you have problems.. my gearbox went bang twice in 7 months :( painful..
On a honda with all the power they make (lack of) you can grind them a fair bit :)

Just a hint.. keep away from additives too.. just stick to Honda spec stuff.
