hey guys, has anyone successfully changed their A/C belt on a civic EG?
i'm follow the DIY on here at

http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=54554&highlight=belt

and stuck on the bit where i have to loosen the A/C tensioner pulley by undoing the 14mm nut. it's seized on tight and there's no space there to get a socket/breaker bar around it!
just wondering if you've done it what tool/combination of tools you used to loosen this nut? cheers

use a good 14mm ring spanner. or a good 14mm hex socket.

cheep ass tools just round the lock nut and kill it.

cheers, might to time to visit repco and buy a brand-name 14mm wrench
i don't have to undo mounts to lower the engine to get at this nut do i? sticking a wrench in the gaps is the correct way?

when I do a timing belt I undo the engine mount. it makes access easyer.

although with the right tools you can do it without undoing the mount. a nice long ring spanner does the trick.

i picked up a Sidchrome 14mm ring spanner (single spanner worth more than the total value of all my other wrenches mind you) and it undid the nut easily. brand name tools are the shit :)
thanks ECU-MAN

the 1.3 carbie EG now lives again! a mere sheared crankshaft bolt cannot stop it :D
