Pioneer Head Unit On Civic EG Hatch

How do I take this out?

You have to take off the 4 screws around the centre console first.

There is 2 near the gearstick on the left and right bottom of it, and there is 2 right under where the headunit would be, right about the ashtray.

Take that off and depending how they installed the headunit, just push your hand under behind the headunit and push it out, either that or there will be a bracket holding it, just get a flathead screwdriver and just bend the sides out so you can pull the headunit out.

Since its a pioneer head unit you might need release keys if the metal bracket is locked into the DIN slot. Just shove the keys down the left and right side of the bracket to release it.

Okay thanks guys problem solved with my car took the headunit out with those keys, now to another car I wanna take out which is a Sony Xplod headunit, tried using the keys but don't work. :S And the keys are for that headunit aswell but won't seem to budge :(
